「Funglish」への取り組み

　１２月６日（水）５・６校時に３年生の「Funglish Time」を実施しました。市内の１５名のALTの先生方にご来校いただき、英語でのコミュニケーション活動を行いました。英語を解した意思疎通の楽しさを体験しました。１年生の時と同様に生徒は英語によるコミュニケーションを楽しんでいました。１２月１２日（火）には２年生が、同様の体験を行う予定です。

　１１月３０日（木）５・６校時に「Funglish Time」を実施しました。市内の１２名のALTの先生方にご来校いただき、英語でのコミュニケーション活動を行いました。本校は、今年度から２年間富岡市の指定を受け「Funglishの推進」を行っています。この日は、１年生全員がスモールトークじゃんけん、ALTとのフリートーク、雪合戦などの活動を行い、英語を解した意思疎通の楽しさを体験しました。１２月６日には３年生、１２月１２日には２年生が、同様の体験を行う予定です。

Hello, everyone. Today, I would like to introduce some ways we have "Funglish Day" at Minami JHS. 

First, we have the school broadcast in the morning, at lunch, and after school. The students say the broadcast in English.

"Today's broadcast was from class 3-3. Did you enjoy it?"

Second, students use English when they visit the staff room.

"Excuse me. I'm from class 3-3. Can I borrow the cleaning file, please?"

Students try their best to use English a lot. Their English is better every week! Good job, everyone!

Hello, everyone. Here is an update from our Funglish classes.

2nd Grade

Today the 2nd graders did another talking activity. The theme is "on an airplane." We learned to ask for things politely. "Could you bring me some water, please?" and "Could I have another blanket, please?" are the important sentences.

Then, we set the classroom like airplane seats. The students took turns being Cabin Attendants and Passengers. They took the orders and brought the food and drink cards to their classmates.

Hello everyone! Here is an update from our Funglish classes.

2nd Grade 

Today, we learned the sentences: "I would like~." and "What would you like to~?"

We roleplayed talking at a Denny's restaurant. Students became restaurant staff and restaurant customers.

"I would like scrambled eggs and pancakes." "What would you like to drink?"

The students are very good waiters.  Good job, everyone!
